Today we got to paint wiht our hands, we made plates out of Haldi and red paint. We also got to play the bridge game and the bear game today. We also learned how to write our numbers in Hindi, and we got to practice using a packet. We also reviewed writing our names in Hindi.

Aaye diwali
Today we learned the song called "aaye diwali" which means diwali is coming. We learned how to say how old we were in Hindi, and we learned how to write it too. We played the bridge game - "Aap ka swagath hain" We learned to say what city we live in. In art we made diyas, which hold candles for diwali.

Another fun day in Hindi Camp
Today we learned more words to the song "Aaye Diwali." We reviewed our colors and our numbers. We did the weather and days of the week too. We also played the "aap ka swagath hain" game. In the game, two people make a bridge with their hands and everyone asks "aap ka nam kya hain?" and you answer "mera nam..." and they respond "aap ka swagath hain"

Mera Pariwar
Pita is dad. Maa is mother. Bhai is brother. Behen is sister. Nani is grandma, and Nana is grandpa. We learned about Mera Pariwar - my family. We learned our numbers one to twenty. We learned "Mujhe pasant hai, mujhe pasant nehi hai" which means I like and I don't like. We're having lots of fun in Hindi class!

We learned a lot today!
Today was a great day for the Hindi 2 class! We learned how to say please and thank you - "Kripya" and "Dhanyavad." We also got to make tye-dye shirts in all our favorite colors - Hara, Laal, Pila, Gulabi, and Neela. Sahil's dad taught us all how to play the Tabla, a drum used in India, and we got to make lots of Crafts today. We made 2 crafts today, one was Rangoli, which is a design made out of chalk and rice paste. The other was a Cat puppet. Cat in Hindi is called "Billi"

Today we played a game in the gym called "Langdi Taang" which is like a broken leg game. We really liked the dancing today, and getting a charm for our bracelets. In hindi we learned "Me tihk hoon" which means, I'm fine. And we learned how to say thank you - "Dhanyavad" And we learned the song "namaste namaste namaste dosto apka swagath hain"

Day 1
We liked technology time today. We did lots of crafts (Toran). We learned hot to count to 20 in hindi. "Ek" is one. We ate some indian food and pretzels for snack. It was yummy and not too spicy for some of our class. We learned the colors, numbers and how to greet people today. We will go home and greet our family "namaste".
